Greetings,

Just looking into this for you. If you want to use the 2.5 mm E3 port on the C50, It appears that the only option is a cable that has a USB-C connection on the other side. The intention would be to plug this into a gimbal. Trying to find documentation but it doesn't look like the 2.5 mm port supports the Arri command protocol, so it can't interpret the three-pin fischer connection to your trigger.

It also looks like you can trigger start and stop recording through the HDMI port when configured.

I'll keep looking but these appear to be the available options. Give Canon Support a call. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to answer your questions. 1-800-652-2666

Hey, I have a 2.5mm to 3 pin fischer cable, this cable works to trigger RUN/RECORD with my arri hand unit but does not trigger a CUT/STOP RECORD. Any ideas why this might be or if a setting change will solve this?

Also, if i trigger record from my wireless arri hand unit, I cannot cut with the record buttons on the camera, i first have to unplug the 2.5mm cable before it will allow a cut
