C300mkiii Handle Joystick unresponsive

Hello,

I recently got the c300mkiii. Until the other day, the joystick on the side handle was working fine. I recently assembled the camera and the joystick was unresponsive, though the custom 1 button, rec button and iris dial all work fine. Ive unplugged and replugged the 3.5mm jack numerous times with no luck.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hi there,

The only thing I can imagine other than a connection issue which it seems you've examined thoroughly, is if the power switch is set to the Lock position although that should also prevent the other control dials from making any change as well, so in this case the joystick itself might be malfunctioning.
