XF605 and Manfrotto RC Pan Bar EX LANC Remote Iris Buttons Not Working

I am trying to use the Manfrotto RC Pan Bar LANC Remote Control (MVR901EPLA) with the XF605, but the Iris + and - buttons do not work. I have two of these and neither works, so it is a compatibility problem. Are any steps being taken to fix this problem?

You'll need to contact Manfrotto in regard to support or compatibility issues with their product. Canon doesn't have any control or influence on manfrotto products, so they are not in a position to ensure they work or are compatible with your device.

Their compatibility chart shows support for Standby, REC, Zoom, Focus, Iris (*1), Rec Review

(1*) Iris compatibility: behavior depends on the camcorder model.

I would suggest

Canon RC-V100

RC-IP100

Or Browser Remote if Manfrotto won't help.

I understand that this may be a Manfrotto problem, but this function works okay with the Canon XF400 camcorder, so the LANC function of the XF605 must be different from the XF400 which is why I am asking the question on the Canon forum. Any info on this difference would be appreciated.
