Is there a web api or a way to control the RC-IP100 via TCP/UDP? What I want to be able to do is change the currently selected camera remotely. My end goal is to use Bitfocus Companion to program a button on a stream deck to set the input preview on on video switcher and also set the currently selected camera on the RC-IP100.

I am using three CR-N500's and one CR-N300. To clarify, I am not looking to change any settings on the camera's themselves. I am looking for a programatic way to change which camera is currently selected in the controller.

Hi ajosh498,

There is not a way to remotely control the RC-IP100 or a way to remotely control settings on it. We appreciate feedback on updates and features customers would like us to make to our products. If you ever want to provide feedback directly to our feedback team they can be reached by going to our website HERE and selecting Feedback in the top right corner of the site. We do take customer suggestions and feedback into consideration when we are updating our products and processes.

We are not notified to future software, firmware, or hardware updates prior to them being officially announced by Canon. If a firmware update is released for the RC-IP100 it will be available HERE. If you would like to be notified about updates you can also set your email preferences in your Canon account to receive EOS News.
