Is this possible? For instance, if I wanted to add a polarizer filter.

I don't think so as there don't appear to be any front filter threads. Also, it would be perhaps quite unusable to want to use a polarizer filter since depending upon the angle of the sun in relation to the what the camera is pointing at, you'd need to adjust the polarizer.

What would be your goal in wanting a polarizer for this unit?

Hey! Thanks for the reply. I was observing the use of it in a studio setting. Some items had some nasty glares and was wondering if this could be a solution.
