Godox products ARE NOT 100% COMPATIBLE with Canon. I would recommend the Canon ST-E10 no adapters needed. It will fit in the camera hot shoe and work. There are no Godox flashes directly compatible with the EOS R50 they have to be adapted for use. Who knows if it really is compatible. The biggest thing I see in the forum is Godox products locking up Canon cameras. Godox hasn’t seemed to found out how Canon has implemented the AF Assist Beam protocol on the EOS R series. Godox products DO NOT understand the modified AF Assist Beam signal and cause the camera to lock up. Turning off the AF Assist Beam doesn’t work either. The speedlite will keep trying to fire and lock up the camera. A Canon speedlite understands the different AF Assist Beam command and executes properly. Or you could could get another EL-5 or EL-10 speedlite. No adapter needed mounts directly in the hot shoe.

Speedlite EL-5 compatibility with Godox XPro-C trigger and AD-E1 adapter

I have a EOS R50 camera. Can the Speedlite El-5 connect to the Godox XPro-C trigger? I also have a AD-E1 adapter. If they’re not compatible, which route should I go to get ones that ARE compatible

The R50 and EL-5 only have the multi function fingers, not the 5 pins.

You will need to see if Godox has anything that can handle the new connection.

No Godox product uses the new digital hot shoe. They still use the older 5 pins. Also Godox and Canon’s RT communication are NOT COMPATIBLE with each other. So stick with Canon or Godox they’re not interchangeable.

So if I get a Godox flash that is Compatible to the R50, will they connect? Or should I just stick with the Canon Speedlite and get the trigger for it?
