topic Using a Sunpak DF4000U PowerZoom Flash with my Canon EOS Rebel T6 in Speedlite Flashes

I just purchased and mounted the SanPack flash but I cannot get it to function with my Canon EOS Rebel T6. I seems to work, it flashes, but the pictures are not illuminated. I seems out of sync. Ideas on what to do next?

Respectfully. My suggestion. Return the SunPack and purchase a Canon EL-100 flash. Why not use a flash that is designed to properly communicate with the camera.
