Yes, the Speedlite 600EX II-RT is fully compatible both mounted on the EOS 80D and also as an off camera flash, but then only in an optical wireless mode.

You have an 80D and what to get a 6D? And, you want to know if the flash will still work with it?

If that is correct, the answer is, yes, it will.
