Canon Speedlites

Pulling my hair out - Anyone else having trouble with the Canon speedlight system - specifially keeping your Master (600ex) connected to slaves during a shoot? Seems like they disconnect almost every time I take a shot, and I have to walk around and reboot each flash to get them to link again.

I've tried a few different channels, but no luck - is it just Wifi interference in homes?

Do I need to update firmware?

There is another thread on this topic, with a lot of replies in thread. Bottom line no known solution, and many are frustrated. Canon seemingly either denies it's an issue or is staying on the sidelines
