I put a qustion on his blog and Syl Replied:

"Thanks for asking. Yes, a third edition of the ‘Speedliter’s Handook’ will publish in mid-2018. I wish that I could wave a magic wand and make the process move more quickly!"

So we just need to be patient.

I think there is an ebook of the second edition, which is reasonably priced.

Having been involved a couple of times in helping an author prepare a book for publication, I'm very sympathetic to Syl's plight.

His recent stroke prbably did not help matters, though it appears that he has made a full recovery.

That is good news.

I have both 1st and 2nd edition eBooks via the Apple "iBooks" platform.

If you want a physical print copy of the 2nd edition... be prepared to fork out the dough. Just checking "today" and it's $206 for a 2nd edition ... crazy. It's not available on Kindle (which seems odd since it is available on iBooks for ... I think it was $39).

Anyway, it's a fantastic book on the Canon Speedlite system.
