i just brought flash of 420 ex when did this came out ? or how old 🙂

How old is your 420ex? I don't know, but according to Wikipedia it was replaced by the 430ex in 2005, so at least 10 years.

I sould have the 420 EX tuesday some where i read 2010 when it was new but still not sure !

As Skirball points out... it was replaced by the 430EX in 2005.

The 430EX was replaced by the 430EX II in 2008.

The 430EX II is still sold today (and it's a great flash.)
