    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi there. I purchased the scanner last year and it has been working well till now.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I noticed that some drawings that I scanned recently has some weird vertical light streaks on them. So I scanned a blank page and here's how it turned out.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="IMG_20220104_0014.jpg" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/31825i020718CF00AF5E35/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="IMG_20220104_0014.jpg" alt="IMG_20220104_0014.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="IMG_20220104_0026.jpg" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/31827i8B2099A9478F3F58/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="IMG_20220104_0026.jpg" alt="IMG_20220104_0026.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So far I tried:&lt;BR /&gt;1, Cleaning the glass surface&lt;BR /&gt;2,&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Turned on the calibration at every scan option&amp;nbsp; &lt;BR /&gt;3, Reinstall the IJ Scan Utility (i doubt that this even make it worse... the 1st blank page was scanned before I reinstall the software, the 2nd pic was from after that)&lt;BR /&gt;4, i tried using it on another computer, but the problem remained&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And obviously, nothing worked. Is there any suggestion to fix this? Should I contact local canon service?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you in advance!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
