      <description>&lt;P&gt;Ran the regisrty download but still getting the "Device could not be locked - check that6 another app isn't using the device (-4630)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anyone know anything about this?&amp;nbsp; It is happening to 2 of the 3 scanners we recently got -&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Ok, something else is that different - at the office it works fine - at home through wi-fi and vpn it gets that error - although i have 2 other users that work from home fine -&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The error is related to the WIA service interfering with the scanner driver. The only solution I've found that works reliably so far is to go into services.msc and find the WIA service (stiSvc on Win 11) and stop the service. Other peripherals may be using the WIA service for printing, etc. so you may need to restart it for them. Canon put out a Registry Tool that supposedly fixes this issue, but it didn't (at least not for me).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
