In this situation, you can try checking the scanner for jams using the steps in the link provided &lt;A href="https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&amp;amp;id=ART111950#:~:text=The%20'C%22%20error%20code%20appears,pieces%20from%20inside%20the%20scanner.." target="_self"&gt;HERE&lt;/A&gt;. If you are unable to locate any jams in the printer, it looks like the scanner needs service. You can contact our support team at 1-800-652-2666.
