      <title>New CanoScan Lide 400, Win 11 Home, ScanGear.  Scans, but never outputs file, hangs</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a brand new CanoScan Lide 400 on my clean, well-running Windows 11 Home (White-box) PC.&amp;nbsp; I downloaded and installed the latest "U Scan Utility", and use ScanGear to scan checks (one side at a time).&amp;nbsp; The first few uses after a reboot work great, after that, it will scan, but rather than writing the files when I close ScanGear, it does nothing, and the U Scan Utility hangs.&amp;nbsp; A reboot fixes it.&amp;nbsp; This is VERY annoying and I may return the product.&amp;nbsp; Is there a fix?&amp;nbsp; Thank You.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
