I havent used this scanner in a while but pulled it out to scan some things and my MBP sees it, I hear it warm up, etc.

I run IJ Scan Utility, and it says "Looking for scanner" every time, even though it's seen the scanner before. Then very quickly it says "Scanner is warming up. Do not open cover" and then "Processing. Please wait momentarily." These two items come on screen and off so fast I had to record the screen to see what they said. And then - nothing. No scanning happens. No error code, no notice of faillure, just not action at all.

I'm running a MBP, just updated all the Canon software/drivers, and the MBP is plugged into a power source. I've tried restarting, reinstalling, changing the usb cable, using the Driver function in IJ to manually select the section, and nothing works.

Help.
