How do I get a .PPE file for my Asus Chromebook to accept my new Canon CanoScan LiDE 300?

I talked to Canon Customer Support, all they could conclude was for me to contact ASUS and ask them why there isn't a file that reads my Canon Scanner...I don't even know what model Chromebook this is...I got my Chromebook in 2023, and the warranty is almost certainly out anyway...

The question you should be asking first is whether the scanner is Chromebook-compatible. Lots of printers and scanners are not. Look for a Chromebook driver on Canon Support for the scanner.

Hi there!

If your Chromebook is set up to work with your scanner, HERE are the steps to scan. There is also a hyperlink included in the article to go through setup, just in case you need to.
