I had a pc that lost a power supply and the profile of the user got ruined. Before this there were no issues with scanning on any level. it lost the driver that was re-installed.

captureperfect 3.0 97 was installed and seemed to work once the scanner was added back onto PC now will stop in the middle of a scan job. the scanner will show anywhere from 5 or more pages beyond the number that captureperfect has processed. the number of scanned pages has ranged anywhere from 5 pages to 120 pages of the approx 160 pages to be scanned.

captureperfect has been uninstalled and re-installed, printer has been removed and re added computer has been re-booted a large number of times

also when the job stops in capture perfect the scanner screen reads scanning and must be re-booted and sometime the capture perfect has to stopped via taskmanager. if I try to do anything on the capturepeferect it will state the the scanner id not locked

any thoughts are appreciated
