    <description>&lt;P&gt;I purchased a new Apple Mac Book Pro a year ago. I have a LIDE 210 that works with my older MBP but not the newer computer. Canon site states: “CanoScan LiDE 210 has been retired. Product support is no longer available. Driver and content updates are not being made.”&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;Sometimes, there are workarounds in these situations.       <description>&lt;P&gt;It's a paid for workaround, but VueScan software by Hamrick Software can allow old scanners to work with new operating systems.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I use it with a Minolta film scanner on my W10 and macOS14 computers. The last version of the factory driver was for Windows XP.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
