topic Canon LIDE 220 scanner not recognized on Windows 11 in Scanners

I recently bought a new computer. I managed to install everything but ran into a problem with my LID 220 scanner. I installed Adobe Photo Studio but found that it would not scan. While running the Preview in Photo Studio I am told that the scanner is warming up but it apparently doesn't get warm enough. On checking I found that the scanner installation process had stopped because the scanner was not connected to the computer. I have checked the USB cable and plugged it into several ports on the computer without success. Could it be that the cable is faulty? My OS is Windows 11 and I have downloaded the appropriate driver.

Hi,

Please cancel the install and disconnect the scanner. Once that is done, restart your computer and after the restart, reinstall the scanner driver. Make sure the scanner is disconnected until a message appears asking you to connect the scanner.

If the scanner is detected and installed, please open the scanner program called IJ Scan Utility(should have installed with the driver) and try to scan.
