I'm using a lide 300 scanner. Is there a way I can create a desktop shortcut directly to the scangear app without first having to open the ij utility?

Thanks for the quick response. Using windows 10 pro 64 bit. My objective is to load scangear directly without the all around utility first.

I forgot to mention that I also have a 220 and that software presents a graphic menu of the various modes that allows me to drag any of them onto the desktop as a free standing icon. That's sort of what I'm looking for.
