      <title>The photos scans on my new ImageFormula R40 are very dark.  How can I get more accurate scans?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;All my photo scans on the R40 are coming out very very dark.&amp;nbsp; I'm scanning at 600 dpi, the scanner is clean, my monitor lighting is up.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;When I manually try to edit the photos after scanning I still can't get realistic lighting.&amp;nbsp; I have a sample of a photo that I scanned 7 years ago with a lesser scanner and it's a much higher more bright a visible scan.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any suggestions?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
