    <description>&lt;P&gt;Greetings,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Lines in images from a scanner are most often related to a mechanical issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can test your unit with another system.       <title>LiDE 300 - Lines on my scan</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello everyone -&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Vertical lines are appearing down the middle of my scans. I have cleaned the glass thoroughly, as suggested, but these lines keep popping up. I can't afford to replace my scanner and am really hoping to find a DIY fix for the problem.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you for responding to me.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As noted in my post, I can't afford to replace my scanner and am looking for ways that I may be able to fix it on my own. Ideally, I would like to know WHY it is making these awful lines.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;PS: I am particularly irked by this scenario because I bought the scanner in June of 2020. It is not that old nor has it seen much action.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
