    <description>&lt;P&gt;Greetings,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I see the scanner supports 8bit grayscale. Unfortunately, Canon is unable to support function of 3rd party software with this scanner. Have you contacted RealVision Software for assistance? I have no experience with this application, sorry.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Canon DR-M260 Scans only t Black &amp; White in Application - RVI PC Image</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Need assistance with Canon Dr-M260 scanning to B&amp;amp;W in certain applications.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The application is known as RVI PC Imaging 8 which sends the image to our AS400.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've tested the scanner and driver in the Kofax software as well as the Windows Store Scanner and they scan to Gray Scale just fine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've updated the scanner driver use to Gray Scale as default, but that doesn't help. The application will continue to scan to B&amp;amp;W&lt;/P&gt;</description>
