Thanks -- I'm glad to have that input. I won't bother installing the new XPS driver.

I noticed that the installation of the new driver discarded a few unnecessary Pro-100 drivers that had been installed when I first set up the Pro-100 after buying it new a couple of months ago, including a WS driver and an XPS driver. Now the new Canon Pro-100 Series driver is the only Canon printer listed under Devices in the Control Panel and Windows Settings, instead of several, which is fine with me.

Robert N.

There is aso a Pixma Pro-100 Windows XPS driver, released the same day. Did you download that one as well?

Robert N.

I do not use the XPS driver. Early on I ran tests with and without the XPS driver printing from both Lightroom and Print Studio Pro. I saw no difference.
