Hi helices,

18 flashes means the printer detected a ink out condition. If the lamp on the ink tank flashes, replace the ink tank and then print try to print again.

If none of the lamps on the ink tanks are flashing, I recommend performing a reset of the printer. While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the printer and let it sit for 60 seconds. While the power is off, press the power button 5 times. After 60 seconds plug the power cord back in and power on the printer.

After the reset does the alarm light keep flashing?

I haven't used this printer for a couple months. Today, at several power-ons, the white and orange lights alternately flash - eighteen times

Please, advise. Thank you.

~ helices

Oddly enough, I powered on about an hour after posting this. The printer went into ink priming mode, and then came up ready to print.

Apparrently, my problem is gone.
