Pixma Pro-10 set up flashing light trouble

Hello,

Just bought a new Pixma Pro 10 printer, following the set up instructions and get to the point where i hit the on button. the on button is white and the button below is flashing orange and is sounds like the the print head tray is making a squealing noise. We have not installed the print head or the ink cartridges yet as per instructions.

It looks like its not returning to the middle which would set it up for installing the print head.

Can anyone help. Ive searched high and low for answers.

Verify that all tape and packing material has been removed.

How many flashes in the pattern?

thanks. we skipped to the next step and the noise went away. I saw another post.

Now, the print head will not sit properly on the tray. I don't want to force it. Ive watched several videos.

Any suggestions.

Be sure it is oriented properly. If you are still having problems give Canon a call at 1-800- OK-CANON.
