5 x 7 always jams

I have a pixma pro-10. I can print pictures on every size photo except 5 x 7. No other size jams, but 5 x 7 ALWAYAS jams, no exceptions.

This is very frustrating as I have many pictutes I need to produce at 5 X 7.

Hi TaylorF70,

Please make sure that you are inserting the paper into the printer with the 5" side down and the 7" side along the side of the paper feed slot.

What type of 5" x 7" paper are you attempting to print with?

Hi TaylorF70.

Upon digging a bit deeper, for the PRO-10, the paper should be loaded in the center of the tray, between the paper guides, rather than at the side.

For smaller size paper (5 x 7 or 4 x 6), you may also need to enable the Prevent Paper Abrasion setting in the print settings (Windows / Mac OS).

You can't put the photo paper anywhere except the middle of the feeder.

Upon more testing, I've found 5x7 will work with some types of 5x7 media but not all. It should accept any photo paper I want to use, but alas it appears to be a flaw with this printer.
