During paper feed, there is a loud screeching noise from the innards of the printer. It still feeds the paper. It still prints the picture; bu, it sounds like a dying printer? Is there any hope?

The Pro 9000 mkII is still supported through W10. It is no longer supported on MAC OC since HighSierra (10.13).

Options:

Try and fix yourself

Contact Canon

Take to a repair shop

Upgrade

It sounds like something is binding. If you cannot determine the source of the problem, you can contact Canon or try a repair shop. Canon does not support or repair their product indefinitely. There are limits, so a shop might be able to help if they can't. If the cost to fix or repair is prohibative, it might be time to consider a new printer. I believe Canon offiers a upgrade program for printers which are no longer supported. You can contact sales and see if you are eligible.

Sales Department (866) 443-8002
