When setting up a new Pro-1000, the print head seems to jam after the initial power-on. I removed all tape and other packing material, then connected the power cord and pressed the On button. Did the initial set up and installed inks but when it came to install the printer head the carriage comes partially out then back over to the right not allowing the installation with an error 5110 - which says to cancel printing, turn off and on again. Did that but same problem again and again....

I have called the company where purchased and they're in touch with Canon but wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if it was an easy fix or having to send printer back to Canon (I live 8hrs from major city so not easy to just take it back)

Any suggestions would be most appreciated 🙂
