Pixma Pro-1 banding

My Pixma Pro-1 printer is printing three faint pink/red bands in the same direction as the printhead. On A4 paper they are at 3/4", 21/4" and 11" from the papers leading edge when printing. I have performed several cleans, nozzle checks and printhead alignments and all come out correctly printed. I have reinstalled the drivers, changed papers, changed cartridges(OEM), changed settings, etc. to no avail. Bands get fainter when print quality is set to high. Any suggestions or is it the dreaded printhead dead/replacement scenario?

Hope somebody can help...

Just discovered the nozzle. Check print has changed. Now half the PC block is missing and half of the Y block is faint. I guess its the dead printhead?
