Hello,

I have a PRO-100 printer on an iMac running OS X 10.6.8. I tried to put it into Auto Power Off mode but it says that this won't work if the printer is connected to a network. Is there any way to get this to work?

If I go into System Preferences, I can turn off the printer in the printer Utility. Is there any way of controlling the utility from the command line? I would like to set up a scheduled job to print a test page and then turn off the printer.

(I am assuming that when the printer is turned off by the utility, "the machine caps the print head (nozzles) automatically to prevent from drying," and that this is a good thing.)

http://ugp01.c-ij.com/ij/webmanual/Manual/M/PRO-1%20v1-1%20series/EN/BG/Bg-Tips6000.html (This is for the PRO-1, but I assume it is the same.)

Thanks,

Mark
