Pixma Pro9000 Mk II shut down in middle of printing, wont turn on

The printer shut down in the middle of a job - I had changed a cartridge while the printer was in the midst of a print dialogue. It started the print process but quit/shut down and will not power up now. Sugestions/advice please? thanks
