Printer LCD panel Printer information System Information indicates 2.040 but I get a top level new notice indicates "You can update to latest firmware".

Canon support USB firmware updater appears to apply to 2.040

Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.4

I updated latest Pro 1000 driver

Correct! That's the current one. I've got that one installed myself. Been around for some time.
