First, check that all your cartridges are in the correct position and seated. Second, do a head cleaning. If you still have the problem give Canon a call at 1-800-OK-CANON.

My Pro 100 does not print red as red---more as a maroon. It also prints yellow (as when someone is wearing a yellow shirt) as pink. Any suggestions?

This does sound like the cartridges are not in the correct slots. But also check the ink levels and print a test sheet.

Are these genuine Canon inks?

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. Called Canon Tech Services yesterday and he took care of it. All it took was lifting the release lever for the print head and refastening it. Took care of both problems. Evidently the print head wasn'r seated tightly.
