Hi,

I have an issue with adding Custom Media Types to the Canon PRO-1000. I created one as per the manual in the Media Configuration Tool and updated printer and printer driver. I see the paper in the printer's settings (Various Settings -> Device Settings -> Paper-related Settings). However, it does not appear in the selectin of paper for the rear tray, and it is also not available in the printer driver (XPS) and Canon Print Studio Pro.

What could I be doing wrong?

I already wrote Canon support a week ago, but no response. I got back an email that waiting times are longer than usual at the moment.

I would need the Custom Media Type to set the printer head hight when printing from Print Studio Pro.

Thanks for your support!

Regards, Robert
