topic Pixma Pro Printer will not connect to Computer in Professional Photo Printers

I just purchased a Pixma Pro 100, and my new Windows 10 computer will not connect to the printer despite repeated attempts. Everything in the on-line program works well until it attempts to connect to the computer (using a USB). I believe the USB port on the printer may be damaged.

It is flimsy, and rotates about 25 degrees to each side with the cord in. The cord is cheap, and does not fit into the port securely. I tried a higher quality USB to no avail. What do I do, return the printer as defective? I purchased it on-line (new), so it will be difficult to ship back. Best Regards, Pete

Sounds like you have three option (assuming you are sure that the USB cable you are using is a printer USB cable):

1. Connect via LAN

2. Connect via WiFi

3. Return printer
