Pro 100 printer problem

I am trying to print 6*4 photos. Sometimes the photo paper which is not a Canon product, goes straight through without printing. Most of the time, there is a support 1300 paper jam. I don't have this problem with 8*10 photos.

I hope someone can help.

It prints!! Thanks, John.

But another problem arose. There is a border around the picture--1/4" at the top, 3/4" on each side and 1-1/4" on the bottom. How do I correct this? I have to admit that I am a complete novice concerning printers.

Oops. My daughter told to check the paper size. I was using 5*7 paper. Using the right size paper always works. I told you I was a novice.
