Thanks for the quick reply.

I was attempting to print from Indesign and Photoshop. I uninstalled, then re-installed the 8400 driver and let the installer find my printer (it is connected to this computer via ethernet). It added it under a new name "ipf8400(2)" and now Free Layout launches properly. I will try the same thing on my other computer.

Another problem has come up however, it says the ipf8400 status monitor is either not installed correctly or not installed at all. Same on the other computer, at least they are behaving the same!

I will call Canon support.

Thanks!

Matt

Hi folks!

When I try to use the Free Layout program it tells me it can't be launched (error 001). I am printing to an ipf8400 using the driver v460 and extras v320.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Thanks!

Matt
