It was $800+ Australian I paid for it here in Perth.

Anyway, I found a suggestion somewhere to try the Windows 8.1 driver so I tried that but my first attempt said they were only for 32 bit systems or someting like that. However, when I revisited your driver site the W8.1 driver donwloaded ok and I was able to use the Pro 9000 again. Not only that but I also downloaded the free Disketch Disc Label Printing software and was able to print directly onto DVD's for the first time ever. Wonders never cease.

Incidentally, no sooner had I purchased the Pro 9000 than they brought out the MkII version.

Canon can say whatever they like about the age of the printer (not yet even 10 years if you don't mind!) they should provide a driver for it for windows 10. My machine is still working perfectly.

Come on Canon - you are not doing the right thing for your customers.

Anyone would think that you would jump at the chance of raking in all those dollar$$$$$$$$$ for the ink cartridges going to be ordered by those Pro 9000 users!

Assuming its a Pro-9000 (and not a Mark II) it possibly won't.

Realize its a 9 year old model, and cost $500 US when new.
