I have the same problem on the IPF 8400 printer. Garos 1223 and 1225 error,

message "data reading is wrong, turn off the printer..."

Nothing is working since arround 6 weeks and the last El Capitan and now Sierra uopdate. We tried almost everything...

Time is running out. We have to print. Our customers cannot hold on much longer.

regards

Karsten

I upgraded to os sierra on my mac pro. Now my canon pro9000 mark II just spits out the paper or prints 1/2 a sheet from illustrator? Is there a workaround until canon up grades their printer drivers?

I talked to the canon teck and they assure me it Mac Os sierra.
I talked with Mac and they assure me it Cannon.
I re installed el capitan. Its Apple and I confronted them and pointed out in my reading of forums, Epson, profession printers and Canon all have the same problem, Apple said we should fix it in the next upgrade. This cost two days and I am not done yet. Apple was suppose to help down load my photos form the cloud.
