topic Controlling individual color separations on iPF9400 in Professional Photo Printers

Hello

Is there a way to send a pre-separated image to iPF9400 (as opposed to sending RGB/CMYK and letting the printer color manage it)? I would like to be able to create the individual separations for each ink by myself, and send them to print as greyscale images or a multichannel TIFF/EPS.

I know that some high end RIP tools allow this, but this work is for an experimental, non-commercial art project that does not justify buying a full-blown RIP.

Are there ways to do this?

Thank you all in advance

Hello.

Unfortunately, this type of option is not availble with the printer or driver. You would have to use specialized software to perform this type of function.

This didn't answer your question or issue?

Hello Michael - thanks for your responce. Are you aware of specialised software tools that allow this, but that will not require me to purchase a complete production RIP solution?

Hi boriso,

The only software that may allow you to perform the task you are inquiring about would be RIP software. We are not aware of another type of software.
