Sounds like you are trying to connect wirelessly?

Frequently a router uses generic username and password of "admin" for username and "admin" for password - try that.

Hello John,

The message says that the server is the printer's IP address not my router.

I can in the menu select "no password" but that setting is not sticky and so does not help.

As a result I cannot use the printer information facility or change mopre detailed settings

Ian

John,

Searching around in the help section I found a table that lists the pre installed password. For my printer it is "Canon"!!!!!

I now have access.

thanks,

Ian

Thanks for posting solution for others.

I guess the "s" suffix printers use a password since they have internet connectivity.

A major advantage of Print Studio Pro is that it handles all the necessary print settings in PS or LR. Many folks on this site report problems especially printing from PS but have success with PSP.

If you print successfully from PS and LR there is little benefit.
