And you have done the obvious reboot of the computer and printer? Turn the computer completely off and the printer also.

Turn on the computer and then the printer. If this doesn't fix it. Uninstall and re-install Print Studio Pro.

Can you print form other WIndows programs? If you can than something went wrong with the PSP instalition. If nothing prints, try a new USB printer cable (must be rated for printing).

I noticed on the Canon web site there are pretty new drivers and software updates. You have checked recently to make sure you have the latest?

http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/printers_multifunction/professional_photo_inkjet_printers/pixma_pro_100#DriversAndSoftware

I just bought LR5 but actually it isn't much different except they improved the brush somewhat.

But now we know, the printer is fine, the USB cable is OK, and your computer is doing it's job. There has to be something wrong with PSPro.

You did tell PSP, when you installed it, to install the plug-in in LR? You can check this in LR by selecting the Managing plug-ins drop down under the File tab. Check that next.

OK

They both show under the file > plug-in. The Aplication opens, but it is "empty". Unfortunately I cannot include a screen capture, but for example on the right hand panel only the headings appeare like "Printer" but there are no printers to seleckt. Empty like the other options as well. Just headings nothing to select.

I guess there is not much to do other than wait a new update. This program has worked. Thanks anyway.

BTW I was planing to purchare LR 5 just because of the brush, if it really is that good for cuting images.

Thanks

Do you see this screen below? I am a little confused on what you just said? In LR the right side of the screen has "Print" and next to it "Printer...". This is at the bottom of the screen on the right side. Click "Printer..." to choose your printer. You must have the Pixma Pro-100 selected for te PSP to work.

Yours must look exactly like the screen shot for everything to work properly. I hope you get it sorted because the Pro-100 is a great printer but if you can't get PSP to work, it's no big deal because LR5 prints just fine without it. Actually LR5 does everything PSP does!

About the new brush in LR5, it is better nothing more. So don't be expecting great things from it. It works OK about 50% of the time. It is NOT Photo Shop!

You must have an imagine selected before you use PSPro. Remember it is a plug-in. Have the imagine up and selected in LR. Than go to the Plug in extra menu, (like the first screen shot). It should appear.

OK, now you are out of the operation of PSPro or LR. You have some other Windows setting messed up. Whether you did it or Windows did it for some reason is of no matter.

Right click on your Desktop and there will be some way to set the resolution. Mine is NVIDA Control Panel. Set it to 1920x1080 and Color Depth to Highest (32-bit).

Beyond this I am not going to be of any further help, if I have been any help at all, that is. But that is why PSP is not working proplerly.

Good luck,

EB
