Can I print vehicle wraps with a Canon Imagegraf IPF8100?

Just bought an IPF printer for wraps but am thinking I made a mistake.

Can someone answer my question and hopefully prove me wrong.

Not enough information to help you. I'm not certain if people fully understand your issue. I know that I don't. On to what type of media are you printing? What size is the media that you're using? What printer settings are you using?

I read somewhere that the ink for the IPF8100 will not withstand the outdoors.

Is that true?

Or does it depend on material printed on?
