Hi Castor! Thanks for contributing to the Canon community. I see that your imagePROGRAF PRO-1100 is shifting the image to the right side of the page when printing on A2 and A3 size paper.

I understand that you are adjusting the settings within Professional Print & Layout, and the margins show correct in the preview window on your computer screen. Before we can continue troubleshooting, I will need more information. I can tell you that this issue can be caused by the software as well as the hardware. You may also need to adjust the slot size and slot position in addition to the margins. If you are adjusting those settings, there might be an issue with the Aspect Ratio of the image you are printing.

I do have some questions for you later in this post. Feel free to write back with answers to those questions if you want to troubleshoot this problem over the community website. If you need this issue resolved quickly, I recommend that you contact us by phone so we can help you in real-time. If you created a Canon account and registered the printer, you can dial 1-800-652-2666 for support. If you have not created your account or registered the printer you can do that through the following web page:
https://myprofile.americas.canon.com/us/signin

I will need you to measure the paper with a ruler and provide the actual measurements (not just the size mentioned on the paper package). So we can determine how to correct this issue, please write back with answers to the following questions:

Using a ruler, what is the length and width of the paper you are using (in inches)?

What type of paper is it?

Which tray are you using to load the paper (rear tray or manual feed tray)?

Are the paper guides being adjusted to match the paper’s width?

What version of Mac is your computer running?

While you are waiting for a response, you can check out the following web article to see if it will help with your issue. It does explain how to adjust the margins, slot size, and slot position using the Professional Print & Layout application:

https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/ProfessionalPrintLayout/W/CO/EN/PPL/ppl-301.html

If you would like to view instructions that will help you load the paper, please check out this section of the manual:

https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Manual/All/PRO-1100%20series/EN/BG/bg-103.html

I hope this information helps. If not, I look forward to your response to the questions I asked. Thanks again.
