imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 says print head joint lever not closed completely

the screen on my imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 says the joint lever is not closed completely. sure looks like it is to me. does anyone have any suggestions ? thank you

What to Do

Close the joint lever following the procedure below.

Open top cover.
Push joint lever securely.\Note
- Push the joint lever until it clicks into place
Close top cover.

I should have included the next step, shouldn't I? Next, you should contact the Canon printer support team available Monday through Friday from 8am to 8pm (ET),and can be reached at 1-800-OK-CANON (800-652-2666).

You should make sure your printer is registered in your Canon account first, of course.
