Hi, I've started having problem with prints not matching the monitor.

I have a BenQ SW2700 PT monitor. I calibrate my monitor using the datacolor spyder X elite. I use Red River UltraPro Gloss and print using their ICC profile. I use Professional Print & Layout with PhotoShop to print. My prints started having a dull magenta look to them.

I've recalibrated my monitor. After deep cleaning the nozzles I did a nozzle check and everything looks great.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what's going on?

Thanks, Paul

Hi pjscott51,

Have you tried printing your image using the standalone version of Professional Print & Layout? More information regarding this can be viewed here:

How To Use Inkjet Printer Profiles: Canon Professional Print & Layout (redrivercatalog.com)

Next, please print a nozzle check on plain paper:

1. Load a sheet of plain paper into the top feed of your PRO-300.

2. Press the Home button on your printer one time.

3. Use the down arrow to select Maintenance and press OK.

4. Select Nozzle Check and press OK.

5. Select Yes and press OK.

Please take a photo of the nozzle check that just printed and then add it to your reply of this post.

Also, what version of Windows is installed on your computer?
If you are using a Mac, what version of the macOS is installed?

Did this answer your question? If so, please click the Accept as Solution button below so that others may find the answer as well.

Sometimes a magenta cast is the result of double-profiling.

Check your print settings.
