Thank you! I am using Sequoia on my mac. Iv tried printing from photoshop and the canon printing app and making sure the paper types line up. Im not sure why i was able to print once. I asked chatcpt 😁 and it said i had to connect an ethernet cable from the printer to my wireless router as the print jobs are too large for wireless printing. I feel like i have tried everything. Should I uninstall everything and reinstal and start again? Im not a pro at this obviously but i do understand computers, photoshop etc quite well but i am clearly missing something! thank you so much for any help

imagePROGRAF PRO-1100 getting paper margins error and print disappears

Just received the Pro-1100 and I set it up and printed one print and now i cant get anything to go. I installed the proper driver (not the airprint one) but it is constantly telling me my media types are not matching. I am using 8 x 10 trinity velvet red river paper and they suggest using matte photo paper (i have tried various other types too). I want a once in ch border all around and the print preview looks great but i keep getting the error of margins too small and it may be cropped. I say okay but still doesn't print. The print job just disappears. I don't understand how I was able to print one image before and now nothing. I was told the printer needs to be connected to my router with an ethernet cable or a usb cable from my computer to the printer?! Everything was going great and now nothing will work!

Greetings,

There's basically 3 places where a paper mismatch error can occur. On the printer, in the printer driver, or in the application you're printing from. Normally one or the one or more of these doesn't match.

I would recommend you contact support but they're closed for the day now and they're not going to be open tomorrow. 🦃

What version of Mac OS are you running?

How is your printer connected and to what? Note, if you're using USB, it's very important that the cable you use be compatible with your system. I do not recommend using an adapter or connecting to a hub, etc.

Try printing from another app. Maybe there's a conflict.

If you're tied up for the holiday, make sure you register your printer in your MyCanon Acct and then contact support.

Home - MyCanon https://share.google/V3VZTFTQ6x3JCLIxw

Support #

1-800-652-2666

In the meantime, we'll try and help too.
