&lt;P&gt;The printers support portal has a driver available for Tahoe.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;PRO-310 CUPS Printer Driver Ver.29.5.0.0 (Mac)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;I'd start by removing the printer from your system. If you are using a USB cable, disconnect it as well.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Remove any print driver you may have installled.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;**Restart your system.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;USB connection: run the cups installer, do not connect the printer until prompted to do so.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;For wireless or ethernet:&amp;nbsp; &lt;STRONG&gt;Optional but recommended&lt;/STRONG&gt; &amp;gt; I would assign the printer a static or reserved IP on your network. This ensures persistency and reliable connectivity.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Install the printer as an IP printer on your system.&amp;nbsp; Then run the cups installer.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for your help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is your suggestion to install the printer as a static IP printer and then to run cups?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can you please hold my hand regarding installing the printer with a static IP address?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Perhaps I am dense, but all along it has been a bit of a struggle to get the printer installed.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Greetings,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;There are no silly questions.&amp;nbsp; Yes your assumption is correct.&amp;nbsp; Start by connecting the printer to your router.&amp;nbsp; (Wireless or Ethernet). Once done, you can reserve or assign the IP address your router has given the printer in the router's admin portal.&amp;nbsp; Make note of the IP and restart the printer.&amp;nbsp; Confirm it's using the assigned IP.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can do this by looking at the list of attached devices in the router's admin portal, or by entering the IP in a web browser and confirming it's web server displays, or by pinging the printer from a terminal window using the ping command.&amp;nbsp; &amp;gt;ping the IP address, then enter.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Example.&amp;nbsp; &amp;gt;ping 192.168.1.99&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Once you are ready to proceed, open the printer and scanners properties dialogue.&amp;nbsp; Near the top, you'll see a little globe.&amp;nbsp; Click that.&amp;nbsp; In the top dialog box, enter the IP address you assigned to the printer.&amp;nbsp; A box two lines down will populate with the same address.&amp;nbsp; This field is editable. Give your printer a friendly name.&amp;nbsp; Proceed with adding the device. Just go with the defaults.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Now run the cups driver.&amp;nbsp; Once that's complete, open the printers and scanners dialog box again, right click on your IP printer and select properties.&amp;nbsp; Near the bottom of the dialogue, there's a box for the driver the printer is using.&amp;nbsp; Use the drop down and confirm it's using the Canon driver you just installed.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Then test.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
